New York, NY (PRWEB) January 10, 2005 — The Big Apple Comic Book, Art, and Toy Show returns to Manhattan’s Penn Plaza Pavilion on Saturday, January 22-23, bringing together, comic book artists, film and television celebrities, some 300 dealer tables, and thousands of collectors and fans. At the Big Apple Con collectors find as much joy in meeting kindred spirits as in meeting their comic artist heroes or re-discovering that long lost Spider-Man comic from long ago. The dealer tables feature not only hundreds of thousands of old and new comic books, but merchandise, films and videos, anime, gaming, and giveaways. “Nothing thrills me more then watching the room fill up, buzzing with people,” commented New York Comic Book King, and Big Apple impresario Mike Carbonaro. “For a lot of people, the comic-con is like Christmas all over again.” The Big Apple Con pays tribute to TV Land with Three’s Company roommates Joyce DeWitt (Janet) and Priscilla Barnes (Terri), Happy Days’ Joanie Cunningham (Erin Moran) and Ralph Malph (Donny Most), and The Honeymooner’s Sheila MacRae. Also joining, will be Dark Shadows’ Laura Collins (Diana Millay) and Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s killer mom, Kristine Sutherland.
